Are you good in front of homeowners? Do you read a room well, explain things clearly, and get the signature before you leave?

We are hiring someone who can walk into a booked appointment, build instant trust, price the job right, and drive the deal home. You get a real salary, plus 1% on every job you sell once it is installed.

This is not a cold-calling role. We fill your calendar and we put you in front of homeowners at events. You close it.

No roof climbing. You assess from the ground and off aerial measurement reports.

What You Will Do

• Run company-provided booked appointments with homeowners
• Assess the property and project scope
• Verify aerial measurement reports and confirm scope on site
• Build detailed, accurate estimates in our system
• Price jobs correctly the first time. Margin protection matters here
• Present solutions with clarity and confidence
• Build trust fast and guide clients to a decision
• Create proposals and pricing on the spot
• Follow up relentlessly with prospects until a decision is made
• Manage your pipeline and keep deals moving forward
• Track all activity in CRM and stay organized
• Write clear scopes of work so production builds what you sold
• Communicate with office and production teams for smooth handoffs
• Represent Nail 'Em Down at home shows, fairs, trade shows, and community events to build the pipeline
• Work the room at events, capture qualified leads, and book appointments on the spot
• Follow up on every event lead within your first business day back
• Other duties as assigned. Small team, everyone pitches in

What We Are Looking For

• Sales or estimating experience. Roofing, construction, or in-home sales is a plus
• Sharp with numbers. An estimate that is off costs everyone money
• You read people well and adjust on the fly
• Self-starter who does not need to be managed
• Relentless follow-up mentality. You do not leave money on the table
• Willing and able to work company marketing events, including some evenings and weekends. This is a requirement, not an occasional favor
• Comfortable approaching strangers and starting a conversation cold
• Familiar with aerial measurement reports and takeoff software is a plus
• Insurance and storm restoration experience is a plus
• Tech-savvy and organized
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High personal standards and strong work ethic
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Compensation and Benefits

• $60,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience
• 1% commission on installed jobs. You earn on the work you sold, paid once the job is installed and invoiced

Schedule and Expectations

• Full-time, field-based role
• Most weekends off, but scheduled marketing events fall on evenings and weekends and attendance is required

Pre-Employment Screening

This position drives to appointments and works inside customer homes. All offers are contingent on successfully completing a background check, a motor vehicle record check, and a drug screening.
